The mobile revolution: what initiatives?<\/h2>\n

Technological and societal developments, as well as the mobile revolution, have had a profound effect on many areas of business in recent years. While on the surface these digital transformations have taken place one step at a time, in reality, bridging the digital divide between businesses and individuals is a daily challenge. All these innovations are accompanying a real revolution in mobile usage and have reversed the balance of power: it is now the customers who, by defining new standards, are shaping their real needs. As a result, every company is evolving its strategies to respond as effectively as possible to its customers and their expectations. As part of this digital transformation of society, start-ups often create a company in response to a specific need.
\nFabrice Gaumont and Jean-Baptiste Queromes created Bienvenue WiFi (QG Group SAS), formerly Bienvenue Wifi,<\/a> based on a simple observation.<\/p>\n

Awareness of this revolution in mobile uses<\/h2>\n

These two engineers, specialising in the telecoms industry, were able to discern the problems associated with roaming surcharges with a real head start, given the democratisation of smartphones and the mobility of populations.
\nWhile the abolition of roaming in Europe came into force on 15 June 2017 by ARCEP,<\/a> the Bienvenue WiFi adventure began in 2013. Jean-Baptiste Queromes seized the opportunities offered by his round-the-world trip to study first-hand the solutions and difficulties associated with mobile internet use and their cost.
\nOn his return, just as the idea was taking its final shape, a final sounding board of tourists at the Louvre convinced the two founders to launch the start-up.<\/p>\n

The aim of Bienvenue WiFi :<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To meet connectivity needs, Bienvenue WiFi offers its customers the option of hiring a miniBox for a day. This is a simple technical solution, a pocket hotspot that combines practicality and simplicity and removes the various obstacles to using mobile data in a foreign country. Users rent the box according to their needs and can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously. The service is available at affordable rates of between \u20ac5 and \u20ac10, depending on the rental period. The customer then has a reliable connection anywhere in the world at very high speed. The miniBox offers Wi-Fi via the 4G network deployed by operators, and therefore delivers speeds that exceed ADSL. After use, customers return the box to the partner from whom they rented it, or in a prepaid envelope provided.<\/p>\n

The mobile revolution: the starting point for the customer experience<\/h2>\n

Everything is done to simplify the process: “We offer a single page presenting the product, its price and the option to buy our service. We wanted this to consume as little time and data as possible for users.<\/p>\n
